The Fredericksburg Skate Park...mission accomplished !!

Yes fellow members, after 4 years of planning, 2 years of fund raising, and 4 months of construction.....our dream has been realized!

The skate park is used almost constantly by the youth of this community and surrounding areas.  The heat is on right now and the park has light use during the middle of the day.... but even at mid day when this photo was taken, you can see skaters huddled under the young trees seeking shade.....a mother photographs her young BMXer, and a "new gate" to the park from the HEB lot has been "installed"  :)
